Introduction to Firearms/New Shooter Lesson – This lesson begins with an introduction to firearms safety, then explores the mechanism and nomenclature of the gun. The class continues with a review of shooting fundamentals – Position/Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment and Target Acquisition, Breathing Control, Trigger Control, and Follow Through. The class then moves into the firearms range for practical application of skills. The instructor will take the lesson into the range for live fire exercises to ensure a safe shooting experience, followed by a debriefing and question and answer session. Eye and ear protection are required.

Cost – $125.00 + ammunition

EDC Every Day Carry Workshop – Whether you’re planning to purchase a firearm, or you already own one, there are additional essential items you must add to your daily self-defense toolkit that you carry at all times when you’re out and about. This workshop will inform you about gear and equipment that will have you prepared to handle everyday tasks as well as unexpected defensive situations. This course is CLASSROOM ONLY.

Cost – $75.00

Utah Permit Class – This course will provide you with the safety training requirement to apply for a Utah Certified Firearms Permit (CFP). The Utah CFP allows you to conceal carry in 36 states, including Delaware. This is a must-have permit if you travel to or drive through Delaware frequently. This course is CLASSROOM ONLY.

Fingerprinting is included! You will also need a passport-sized photo to be submitted with your packet. You do not need to bring the photo to the course. GPS will provide you with the packet.

There is no live fire requirement to apply for the Utah permit, so it is highly recommended that if you have little to no experience with your firearm, you consider inquiring about arranging a live fire session with one of our GPS-certified instructors to provide you with safe and efficient handling instruction of your firearm.

Cost – $200.00 (Does not include the Utah application fee.)

Firearm Purchases: With every gun that GPS sells, we offer at customer’s request our “Introduction to Firearms/New Shooter Lesson” complimentary. The lesson includes a review of the gun’s features, loading & unloading processes, and safe handling of the firearm.

Lesson Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your class reservation and receive a refund minus any credit/debit card charges up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled class time or just reschedule the class. No refunds between 24-48 hours of your scheduled class time. You may however, reschedule for another date. GPS will apply your payment to your revised date and time. Canceling within 24 hours of your scheduled class time will risk forfeiture of your payment.
